About College
Appaswami Mahavidyalaya Shendurjana was established in 1991 for the socially backward classes in the rural area.The college is located in remote SC, ST and VJNT concentrated area.The majority of the population belonging to socially and economically backward classes.
From the inception of the college i.e Arts faculty we have U.G courses having further subjects ; English, Marathi, History ,Political Science and Economics. As we have mono faculty the college have separate departments of each faculty members.In teaching position we have 08 teachers including Principle. Out of which 06 teachers are Ph.D Awarded & 03 teachers are Ph.D supervisor. Mahavidyalaya was recognised by U/S 2(F) and 12(B) from UGC Delhi. Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University granted parmanent affiliation to the college. The college accreditated by NAAC Bangalore with ‘B’ grade.
